The Council on Chiropractic Education publishes minimum requirements at www.cce-usa.org (see official publications). The Association of Chiropractic Colleges at http://www.chirocolleges.org/ lists accredited chiropractic colleges. Web sites for the individual colleges provide more detailed information about specific requirements. In preparation for the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, most programs require that applicants have at least 3 years of undergraduate education, and an increasing number require a bachelor’s degree. All matriculants must furnish proof of having earned a minimum of 90 semester units of appropriate pre-professional courses from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized agency. Of the 90 units, 48 must be completed in the prerequisite courses listed below with no grades below 2.00. All applicants must have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 for both the prerequisite courses and the required 90 units.

PALMER COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTIC
Students must complete 90 semester credits with a 2.75 cumulative GPA. Preferences will be given to students earning a 3.0 or better. Palmer encourages a well-rounded education with coursework that includes 24 science credits.
Recommended life and physical sciences courses (other course selections may be acceptable; however, check with the admissions office before registering for classes other than those listed):
